Set up this registry from the command line:

dotnet nuget add source --name MES-Public --username your_username --password your_token https://git.mes.wien/api/packages/MES-Public/nuget/index.json

To install the package using NuGet, run the following command:

dotnet add package --source MES-Public --version 0.1.0-preview.1 MES.Inside.Contracts

Versioned telemetry event and ingestion contracts shared by all MES Inside clients.

MES Inside Client

MES Inside provides locally durable, asynchronous telemetry for logs, exceptions, performance measurements and metrics.

Choose one entry package:

MES.Inside.Client.AspNetCore for ASP.NET Core on .NET 8 or newer;
MES.Inside.Client.AspNetFramework for ASP.NET WebForms on .NET Framework 4.8.

The entry package installs the shared Client, Configuration and Contracts packages automatically.

Integration

Canonical instructions for developers and coding assistants:

Never store an API key in source code or mesinside.json. The configuration contains only a credential reference; the secret is supplied by the target server environment.

Preview status

0.1.0-preview.1 is intended for controlled pilot integrations. Public APIs, configuration and package structure may still change before version 1.0.

Use of these packages is governed by the applicable MES Inside agreement. Package availability does not by itself grant a source-code or server license.

First preview package for controlled pilot integrations. Not yet a stable API.
